A postcard photograph depicting the American Trust Building on the corner of Shattuck Avenue and Center Street. A large electric sign on the roof reads "American Trust Company". This building, now known as the Wells Fargo Building, was the first high-rise in Berkeley. The street scene depicts several pedestrians, cars parked along the street, and a few cars waiting in the intersection.
