Description: Craftsman style bungalow located at 224 South Olive Street, Orange, California, July 31, 2003. Constructed in 1919 by the Orange Contracting and Milling Company for Dietrich and Catherine Klaner at a cost of $3,500. Dietrich Klaner owned a citrus ranch on North Tustin Street, as well as additional acreage in the Olive area. A photograph of the home was featured on page 7 of "Beautiful Orange Homes," a promotional brochure from the early 1920s that featured examples of design and construction by Orange Contracting & Milling Company.
