Description
A montage of five photographs of workers with their vegetable harvest, with the following text: "S. W. Funk & Bros. Growers, shippers and dealers in winter tomatoes, vegetables, fruits, etc.", "This enterprising firm of S. W. Funk, J. P. Funk and D. O. Funk are the largest growers and shippers of vegetables and small fruits in the Valley, their yearly output amounting to hundreds of tons. They have made a specialty of winter tomatoes which they ship in large quantities to New York, Chicago, Boston, Kansas City, Omaha, Denver and even as far north as Toronto, Canada. This firm has established a reputation for its pack in the east, and their fruit always commands the highest market price. The above pictures were taken on what is known as the home place, one mile and a half northeast of town."
