N. W. view of the Marquez Saloon - Pottery, 1936. Part of an adobe wall is visible on the right with pottery visible on shelves. The Marquez Saloon adobe was used by a Mexican pottery maker as a home and for displaying his work, 1936. This was located on the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana. The Marquez Saloon adobe was built by the family of Jose Rosas Marquez who married Trinidad Peralta, daughter of Juan Pablo Peralta II. Recent to 1936, it was used as a saloon and dance hall for the community.
