Description
After a fire destroyed the first City Hall this second building was erected in 1854 at 3rd and Oak Street. The Cupola was added in 1864. This building was vacated in 1938 when the present City Hall was built at 6th and C Street. The old building was sold and razed in 1961. The Library occupied a room of the second floor from 1859 to 1906.
