Part of a set of five postcards depicting murals commissioned for the interior of the Oakland Main Library, a facility now occupied by the African American Museum and Library of Oakland. The post cards were produced at "Furniture Shop, 1717 California Street," the studios of Arthur and Lucia K. Mathews.
