Resturant located on 3rd Street, Sacramento, California. Small portraits on top-center of photo: Misao Gyotoku Nakano and Asataro Nakano. Standing L to R: Mrs. Shigezo Tanaka[?], unidentified child, Shizue Nakano, unidentified woman, unidentified woman, Isaburo Nakano, Matsuo Jyono, Yasuke Nakano, Isamu Harry Nakano, unidentified woman, Yoshiaki Matsuda, Margaret Matsuda, Misao Nakano, Asataro Nakano, George Asato Nakano, Yoshio Harry Tsuruda, Ruth Kikue Tsuruda. Photograph from the Nakano family album. Asataro Nakano and Misao Gyotoku Nakano immigrated from Japan in the early 1900s. They settled in West Sacramento where they purchased land to farm. Their three children are: Margaret Shigeko Nakano, Ruth Kikue Nakano, and George Asato Nakano. The Nakano family and extended family members were sent to Amache Relocation Center during the Internment period. Upon release they settled in Denver, Colorado.
