Description
12 paanel folded brochure. Front page says "Mill Valley and Mt. Tamalpais Scenic Railway. Bottom of panels lists ticket offices. Cover photo of open air passenger rail car going over a bridge. Back panel has a panoramic view of the Bay from the top of Mount Tamalpais. Next panel has a smaller panoramic view and compares the Mill Valley and Mount Tamalpais Railroad with eight other mountain railroads, five of which are in Switzerland. The panel describes the Mill Valley and Mount Tamalpais Railroad as "The Crookedest Railroad in the World" and lists the price for the 8.2 mile long journey at $1.50. Other fare information is at the bottom of the page along with the slogan "The Cheapest Mountain Railway Ride on Earth." The other three panels on that side of the sheet and the other six panels on the other side of the sheet have numerous photos of sights along the way and narrative descriptions of the sights.
