In the traditional Frosh-Soph Brawl held during the first month of classes, students compete in such events as a tug of war, an obstacle race, and a hay stacking contest. If the freshmen win, they are permitted to discard the freshman caps, known as dinks, otherwise, they must wear them until the Pajamarino Rally later in the fall
