St. Catherine's Orphanage, later St. Catherine's Military Academy, designed by Gustav Benrend of San Francisco, built in 1889 and located at 215 North Harbor Blvd. on the west side of the street; image shows interior view of room with rows of baby cribs; crucifix visible on back wall.
