Description
Postcard view of (prune?) orchards in bloom from the eastern foothills of Santa Clara County. Several individual farmhouses and structures can be seen in the foreground. In the middle left is the southern end of San Francisco Bay. Printed on the back of the postcard is this text: "Santa Clara County produces one-third of the world's prune crop. Santa Clara County is famed for its prunes which are unexcelled for flavor, rich in sugar, sun dried and packed under sanitary conditions. Insist upon Santa Clara County prunes. Santa Clara County also leads California in the production of apricots and cherries."
