Anaheim Fire Department Fire Truck No. 1. , delivered in 1915 and photographed shortly after being place on the loading dock from the flatbed railroad car; built in Columbus, Ohio by the Seagrave Company; the hand-fashioned truck was delivered with a chemical tank under the seat at a cost of $9,000; later a 500 gallon water pump replaced the chemical tank for an additional $6,000; after serving the needs of the City of Anaheim for over 40 years, it was sold to a collector who promised to restore it to its original appearance.
