Description
Looking East to the west side of the former Consolidated Orange Growers Association packing house in Orange, California, July 26, 2003. High windows are on either side of a large door used to load railroad box cars. A ladder is leaning against the building. Until 1929, this was the Red Fox Orchards Packing House. They merged with McPherson Heights to create Consolidated Orange Growers Association of Orange, California. The packing house was located on the east side of the Railroad tracks, South of West Chapman and ran along South Cypress Street.
