Description
Crate label for "Cambridge Brand" packed by J. McInnes, Orange, California, 1922-1925. The color lithograph label is illustrated with a view of the buildings of Cambridge University and a bridge over the River Cam in Cambridge, England. Printed in lower right corner with "WESTERN LITHO CO. LOS ANGELES, CAL. 622" John McInnes operated his packing house on West Chapman near the Santa Fe railroad tracks in Orange from 1922 through 1925. On the back, color code information is written in pencil, "Yellow Red 5049 / M Blue Pink 5045 / L Blue D Blue 5030"
