Description
Color slide of the interior patio in the Montiel Patio Homes in Mission Viejo, California. The photograph shows two French doors opening onto a small, enclosed patio. The side walls have windows on them, the other wall is a solid, stucco-covered wall. The "ceiling" of the patio is a dark wood slat patio cover; a portion of sky can be seen through the slats. There are several potted plants hanging from the patio cover. The floor of the patio consists of exposed aggregate concrete with two inset rows of paver brick. The concrete stops about two feet from the walls of the house thus creating exposed soil for planting. In this patio, there are yellow flowers and other plants in this planter area. There is a patio table and chairs on the concrete; on the table is a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. The frame of the slide has a label that reads, "77-002, Frame 114."
