Description: Aerial views of the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado located on the Silver Strand, Hwy 75. Two of the views are looking east, one is looking north and one is looking south over the strand. Formally commissioned in January 1944, Naval Amphibious Base (NAB), Coronado provides a shore base for the operations, training, and support of naval amphibious units on the West Coast.
