Inscribed on photograph at upper left "[ST]ACK OF SHOES / [...?]ING 2 1/2 YRS. / [...?] TAKEN FEB. 21-13" Blacksmith shop of Fred Pressel and son, Carl; built 1910, the second of two blacksmith shops located at 218 West Center Street (later Lincoln Blvd.), Anaheim; image shows brick facade of blacksmith shop, with two men standing to left of entrance; large stack of horseshoes approximately 10 feet high is piled at far left; signage on building cornice reads "1910", "PRESSEL & SON" and "GENERAL BLACKSMITHING & HORSESHOEING A SPTY."
