Description
Color slide of banner girls from Capistrano Valley High School Marching Band marching in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Mission Viejo, California. There are five girls; each of them is carrying a square with a white letter, word, and/or emblem on it. Together, the letter-banner reads, "CVHS, Capistrano Valley, Mission Viejo, California." The square in the middle shows an illustration of a cougar's head; the cougar is the school's mascot. Only a portion of the square displaying the "S" is visible in the photograph. Behind the banner girls is a small group of colorguard and flag girls. There are spectators and two canopies on the sidewalk in the background. The street sign designating the intersection of Olympiad and Melinda is also in the background. The parade is taking place on Olympiad, and there is an arch of green and white balloons over the street. The top of the photograph shows a slope covered with green grass and several trees. The number "24" is stamped on the frame of the slide.
