Description
May Day Parade with Watson Drug Store float, Orange, California, 1937. Image shows young twin girls, DeVonne and Donna Marsh, standing in an oversized powder box [?] decorated with satin and flowers on top of floral float. Signage on side of float reads, "Watson's Drugs. " Two-story wooden building is visible at left in background. Single-story building with tile or brick facade visible at right. The Marsh twins graduated from Orange Union High School in 1952. The May Festival, which began in 1933 and also included the May Day Parade, continued to be held until 1991.
