Description
Accession number: P979 Catherine S. Edens was a hostess in the hot house in City Park (now Charles A. Pearson Park), Anaheim, California. Residence of Robert W. and Catherine S. Edens, 308 North Lemon Street, Anaheim, California. It is a wood frame Carpenter Gothic style house. Fret work resembles waves, four columns, with multiple crowns that blend with the carved beam are on the porch. The railing in-between the columns have cut out circles. An oval shaped attic vent is in the front gable. On the right side back is an octagon shaped area of the house. Roof appears to be of a composition shingle. Television antenna is on the roof. Utility lines can be seen in the background. On the left side of the photograph by the walkway is a strret light. A car is parked in front of the house, only the area from the windows up are visible. Various plants surround the house.
