Looking south down the 100 block of South Glassell Street, Orange, California, ca. 1923. Visible on the right is the Huff Jewelry Store clock (showing 4:40 p.m.), Ehlen & Grote Co. building, Harms Drugs Co., and Stuckey's Bootery. On the left is the Herman Walther Co. with a shoe-shaped shoe sign, G.G. Richards Real Estate, Triangle Cash Meat Market, and C. M. Carlson Billiards. Automobiles are parked along both sides of the street, and pedestrians walk along the sidewalks.
