Upon Frank Lloyd Wright's death in 1959, Taliesin-trained architects William Wesley Peters and Aaron Green oversaw the construction of the Marin County Civic Center Administration Building per Wright's original design. The four-story Administration Building is 584 feet long. The structure houses the County's administrative, financial and physical development departments, as well as the Marin County Free Library and the Anne T. Kent California Room. The Marin County Civic Center is a national and state designated historic landmark.
