Excerpts include photos of Bird (42, 43); Hutchison (46); McCloy ( 46, 61); Day (53); Fitch (57); Odell (58); Nakata (59, 171); Kariya; (61, 142); the Library staff (61); Tajima (67); Nishiyama (103,138); and Tanzawa (175). A three-page photo spread entitled "Even in these troubled times" "but for the most part our life went on as usual," "except for." presents an overview of campus life during wartime. (126, 127, 128) and includes the photo of four [of the six] current Japanese students at Occidental College.
