Description: McPherson Heights Citrus Association packing house located on East Chapman Avenue, Orange, California, 1944. Image shows aerial view of orchards and packing house with Chapman Avenue near the top and Marie Street (later McPherson Road) along the left. The McPherson raisin house, built in 1886, is visible at center near bottom, and a water company well is visible in left corner. The town of McPherson, founded by Robert and Stephen McPherson in June of 1886, was absorbed into the city of Orange.
