Description
Four car train on the Mill Valley track at Mill Valley Junction. This is where passengers from the Northwestern Pacific Railroad changed for the Mill Valley and Tamalpais Scenic Railroad. It was originally called Bay Junction, then Mill Valley Junction after 1890, and then renamed "Altemonte" in 1912. "Altemonte" means "to the mountain" in Spanish. Two passengers are seen on the Mill Valley Platform. The main Sausalito-Corte Madera line is on the right.
