Description
This eight page representative issue of the Poston Chronicle, dated January 7, 1943 includes articles such as "Revised W.R.A. Policy Permits to Travel, Transfer to Other Project Centers," and "Victory Dance Planned For Champions of Poston One." Of special note is an editorial entitled "False Leaders-False Promises," which lambastes the "false leaders" who let those who "desire peace and security" be punished because of the "radical actions of a egoistic minority." The Poston Chronicle, which began as the "Press Bulletin," was published at the Poston Relocation Center in Arizona. It contains mostly local news and notices and a Sports section as well as a page in Japanese.
