Description
Black and white photograph of an aerial view of Marguerite Recreation Center, Madrid model homes, and the Mission Viejo Stables in 1971. The Madrid model homes are to the upper left of the recreation center, and the stables are to the upper right of the model home parking lot. The recreation center has a building in the center with a sand volleyball court immediately in front of it, four tennis courts to the right of the building, and what appear to be three swimming pools to the left of it. Marguerite Parkway is not built yet, but currently runs along the front of the recreation center. This entire small group of buildings, tennis courts, etc. is surrounded by undeveloped rolling hills which make up more than half of the photograph. On the back of the photograph is stamped "Tim Perior Photography, 115 S. Orange Street, Orange, California 92666 714-538-4607." Written in red ink at the top of the back is "Margarite [sic] Center."
