Description
Paul Takehara volunteered for the U.S. army in March 1941. He was assigned to the 34th Infantry Division at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana. In 1942, he transferred to Camp Hale, Colorado and later, to Camp Paris, Arkansas. In early 1945, Takehara shipped out to Germany.
