Description
Japanese oarsman, clad in blue and white striped dress stands in the boat, moving a large oar--near landing place of Krunsenstern, close to Megasaki, Japan. Krusenstern's landing in Japan was in territory of Prince of Fisen (Fisi).
Supplied title. Handwritten (LL, in pencil): Fisen Kambang [Kleid?]. Ref. note: Not published in Langsdorff. Inscriptions in German.
