Small train with 'US Mail" and "Specie" signs on coach behind engine entering small settlement of few buildings (including American Hotel) and thatched roof log houses. Busy crowd on both sides of rails, pack animals being prepared for travel. Tropical vegetation in foreground. Printed title (LC). Printed (LL): C.
