Full titleWm. McGowan, #11556 - who was arrested and did time for picking pockets. His graft was to board street cars when they were crowded and pick the pockets of the passengers. The last time he was arrested was in the Summerfield Store on Market St., where he had picked the pocket of a woman and for this he was sent to Folsom Prison for 3 years and after coming out of Folsom he went east.
