Description
The plot of Thos. O Larkin in Laurel Hill Cemetery. He was born in Charleston, Mass. On Sept. 16th 1802 and arrived at Monterey Calif. in April 1832. He erected the 1st Wheat Mill in April 1832. His wife was the 1st American woman to arrive here, she arrived in 1844. He was appointed United States Consul in Mexico Calif. In fact he was the only U.S. Consul to Calif. His headquarters were at Monterey Calif. His grave is with out a head stone.
