The Mariposa Gazette chronicles information about the history of Mariposa County and life in a pioneer/gold rush town. The missing Gazette newspapers were stolen from the Gazette building/musueum when it was located at the Fair Grounds. Yosemite National Park found and retained the newspapers. The 35mm film (negative) microfilm is noted as being of poor quality.
