Washington Public School Class of 1891. Julia Rix Steven, Teacher List of Names on photo 1996.3.453.A include Grimmer, Nunes, Lowrie, Chadbourne, Rasmussen, Vandervoort. Washington Public School (2nd Irvington Grammar School), the 2nd Elementary School in Irvington, built in 1875 at Lincoln and Union Street in Irvington. 'Irvington Grammar school pupils in 1891--56 years ago. The group includes Grace Gammon, Allie Meyers, Julia Perry, Louise Jessen, Emma Copleand, Louise Levada, Will Davilla, Mamie Jessen, Frances Vierra, Lena Rasmussen, Theresa Levada, Lola Seeber, Amy Nunes, Mary Lewis, Alice Vandervoort, Joseph Enos, John Decoto, Alice Blacow, Florence Vandervoort, Sophie Hirsch, Cora Crommot, Fannie Cash, Emma Powell, Elizabeth Lowrie, Minnie Levada, Myrtle Vandervoort, Gus Wamsley, Joseph Nunes, Frank Enos, John Ramsell, Fred Davis, George Cronin, Fay Chadbourne, Manuel King, Dan O'Malley, and Will Rasmussen.'
