Description
Bill Rase (1926-2006), was a well-known Sacramento musician and media figure. He founded and performed with the Bill Rase Band starting in the 1950s until his death. He was a disc jockey on local radio in the 1950s, hosted a television variety show, and portrayed "Bosun Bill" on a children's television show. Scrapbook 3 (Bill Rase Band, Studios; 1985-c. 2005) includes photographs, ephemera, correspondence, and newspaper and magazine clippings.
