Description
The San Diego-Coronado Ferry Company began in April 1886, and was the main means of transportation to and from Coronado until the completion of the San Diego-Coronado Bridge in August 1969. SAN DIEGO...The southern most city in California, San Diego, a metropolis of over 616,000 residents, is situated on one of the ten finest natural harbors in the world. The tall buildings of the downtown area adjoin this harbor, rising upward and eastward like a giant ampitheatre.
