Description
The college enters the 1950s with a new name and a growing student population. The freshman class has approximately 500 students and the yearbook describes this as "one of the largest classes in recent years." New clubs are emerging on campus. Among these are a Canterbury Club for Episcopal students, a club called the Supreme Court, a Colhecon Club for women majoring in, or interested in, home economics, and a Hawaiian Club. Several students are listed as calling Hawaii home. This yearbook is filled with many college social activities and sports pages.
