Description
This 1903 grammar school class photograph was taken in the garden of the Presentation Convent and School that was located on Powell and Lombard Streets in San Francisco, California. The Sisters established the school shortly after their arrival in San Francisco in 1854. Tuition was free and the Sisters accepted any students in need or want of a good education.
