Description
The Cap and Seal chronicles the history of the Nursing School at San Francisco General Hospital, which for a time had its own self-contained medical school. The Cap and Seal contains evidence of the diverse groups of students that have been a part of Public Medical Education and the development of Public Health in California, illuminating the ways in which public institutions like San Francisco General have been key to the health of our state and the city of San Francisco and the larger Bay Area.
