Cover of Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific promotional brochure issued September 1927. In 1927 the "Golden State Limited" offered daily service bewteen Chicago and Los Angeles. The many scenic sites along the way are described in this promotional publication as well as mention of the bounty of the Sacramento Valley.
