Full color and image rich San Diego Zoo souvenir pamphlet, with images of flamingos, koalas, an elephant and orangutan on the cover. Pages feature photographs and facts about animals housed at the zoo, including polar bears, California sea lions, and mandrill baboons. Includes two pages about the not yet opened San Diego Wild Animal Park. The inside back cover is a map of the Zoo and includes areas not generally depicted before, including the Library. Includes a map of the City of San Diego spanning North to La Jolla, east to Mt. Helix and south to the United States and Mexico border. Many points of interest to both locals and tourists are included, along with outlying towns of La Mesa, Lemon Grove, major streets and freeways, including the 5 North to Los Angeles.
