Bound volume of programs from the 1917-1918 season of the San Francisco Symphony (then called the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra). Alfred Hertz, Music Director. The beginning of this volume includes an index of works performed in the 1917-1918 season. Programs include works performed, program notes, artist notes (and some artist photos), names of orchestra members and guest artists, local advertisements, and notices. In the back there is a repertoire of works performed by the symphony in its first seven seasons, and a list of soloists that performed in the same period.
