Eleven small color photographs with descriptions on the backside of each photo, of the uncovered lost Queen Hattie Mine, part of the Los Burros Mining District in Southwestern Monterey County. Pictured are Marty 'Hardrock' Hess showing the mine’s exterior and interior, deep in the Santa Lucia Mountains. Photographer Brenda Chiappone is pictured in one photo. An oral history tape documenting this 1975 uncovering of the Lost Queen Hattie Mine was recorded by the San Antonio Valley Historical Association.
