The broad, even surface of the plateau of the Sierra San Pedro Mártir. Looking south 20 [drgrees] west from the highest, eastern edge of the mountain. The forest here is in large part lodgepole pine, and the opening in the forest in the middle of the picture is the grassy Vallecito (elevation more than 8000 feet).
