View of buildings located at 264 N.W. which were originally part of Camp Matthews' marine base; it was later turned over to UCSD. Camp Matthews was a Marine garrison that was located just next to the fledgling UCSD campus. In August 1964 after 46 years of Marine training the San Diego Marine Base garrison came to an end.
