Description
Humanities and Social Sciences Film, Audio, Video and Digital Art Sheila’s interview upon return from Balboa Hospital in San Diego. She has cigarette in hand while talking – “I’m held together by rubber bands and Montgomery straps.” Jim mentions his military pension, U.S. national debt, Jane Wyman and Ronald Reagan, St. Patrick’s Day as an Irish tradition. There are moments on these two tapes, but the rambling and crackling voice of Sheila isn’t always easy to listen to. Technical problems do surface at times, too.
