Description
Yu Hua is one of China’s most important and prolific writers of novels, short stories and essays. His writing incorporates many experimental and traditional styles of writing. He experienced the Cultural Revolution as a child and teenager like everyone from his generation, so much of his writing depicts the violence and moral decay of modern China.
