These digital images are surrogates of items from the Alfred North Correspondence and Other Documents (Box 1, Folder 2).
This folder of letters includes a letter from North's bookbinder (20 March 1843); a letter from a student at the Madura mission to North's mother (8 December 1846); a letter from North's sister, Anna, to Mr. Dickinson shortly after Alfred's death (10 April 1869); a letter from A. P. Marvin to Anna (9 April 1869); and three letters from Mary A. Marvin, A. P. Marvin's daughter, to Thomas H. North, Alfred's son, regarding the return of his father's letters.
