Description
YES campaign: Chile will bring a bright, peaceful, prosperous future for babies that will grow into men. YES means saying yes to Chile. Chile is a young progressive nation. NO will destroy everything that is important to you. NO stands for a false democracy that will bring violence, hate, and fear. Say YES to hope and liberty. Children are all different, but they all need a clearly-defined, safe future. Agriculturist Carlos Podeles Micho says he supports the Pinochet regime for the advances they have made in agriculture. Racecar Driver Juan G. Perez demonstrates his support for Pinochet, "a winner for a winner." Field workers for Pinochet to fight poverty including lack of food and work. Chile will return to poverty and rations under NO. NO campaign: NO represents the unity of the Chilean people. NO stands for accepting and caring for communities and neighborhoods even those with poverty and poor living conditions. NO claims ownership of Chile's past and future for the betterment of the country. Feature on foreclosures and housing crisis, arguing that Chileans cannot afford to pay their mortgages because they are too high and salaries are too low. Voting NO will ensure a true democracy with free elections. Violeta Parra dances while Isabel y Roberto Parra play music and sing. Supporters for NO. Liliana Mahn feels defeated by the Pinochet regime. She wants to return to a country with solidarity, unity, and peace.
