Description
Preparation for baking French bread in Lorlow village. This skill was picked up from Lamango plantation bakers. This product was first made at Lamango Plantation because the Tahitian-Chinese manager, Alfred Oupane, wanted to to have some for his family. Bread was sold twice weekly to the general public at the Lamango Plantation Store until the plantation and store were abandoned amid protests for return of the plantation to the Mewum.
